What is Projektino.com?

Projektino is a cloud-based collaboration and project management platform for people who work in geographically dispersed teams. 


Who are the people behind Projektino.com?

The Projektino company was founded in late 2009 by Dracula Ventures Technology Fund, which is the sole owner of Projektino. In 2010 Projektino received additional funding from the European Regional Development Fund.

The Projektino online collaboration tool has been under development since 2010 and was launched in January 2011. Projektino is run and developed by the team below.


Peter Frey
Peter is the CEO of Projektino.com and has been responsible for the development of the Projektino.com platform from concept to the current stage. He has previously served as the Managing Director of Bezkartek.pl (ebooks) from 2008 through 2010, and was responsible for bringing the Company from a startup to a leading position in the industry, especially in terms of the technology developed at the Company.
Between 1999 and 2004, Peter was responsible for running the Customer Service and eBusiness Section at DWS Polska Investment Fund Company (Deutsche Bank Group). In 2002 Peter also spent half a year at DWS Investments in Frankfurt.
Between 2004 and 2006 Peter worked with management consulting as Project Manager at Swedish Trade Council, assisting Scandinavian companies with business expansion on the Polish market.
Peter graduated from the School of Economics and Management at Lund University in Sweden with a Master of Science in International Economics. He speaks fluent Polish, Swedish, English and fair German.

Grzegorz Kopel
Responsible for managing development, implementation and service of the Projektino system. Designed and realized Projektino application for iPhone. Experience in running software engineering projects mostly for OS X and iOS platforms.
Previously employed as Project Manager at Wind Telecom, an IT software engineering company realizing projects for leading Polish mobile operators.
Between 1992 and 1997 employed at sea as OOW (Officer On Watch) on Polish, Swedish, Norwegian vessels.
He is a graduate of the Marine Navigation at Merchant Marine Academy, Szczecin (1991) and post-graduate studies in Software Engineering at Jagiellonian University (2003). >br>Speaks fluent Polish and English.
Proficient in various IT technologies, mostly Objective-C, Cocoa frameworks used in OS X and iOS projects.

Łukasz Jeż
Responsible for system design, coding, testing and implementation of all system components. Coordinates tasks assigned to other members of the development team. Has been responsible for software engineering works in Codido (projektino back-end platform), where he has realized small and medium size IT projects, mostly web applications.
Responsible for keeping close relations with administrators of systems realized in Codido.
Responsible for analyzing CR (Change Requests), design, testing and implementation.
Speaks fluent Polish and moderate English.
Proficient in Java language. Other IT skills: C/C++, Delphi, Assembler, SQL, Javascript, AJAX. He is a graduate of Software Engineering at Politechnika Gliwicka (2007).

Peter Michna
Peter Michna has over 30 years' experience as an entrepreneur, with a focus on finance and technology, particularly in the CEE region. During the 1980's he was in institutional equity sales in New York at Warburg, Becker, Paribas, at Citicorp Scrimgeour Vickers, and Banque Paribas, where he held positions of increasing responsibility to head of equities. Since 1991, he has focused on the CEE region. He has been a founder and managing director of the Poland Growth Fund, a joint venture with Soros Fund Management. He was a Management Board Member of Raiffeisen Private Equity Management, the private equity arm of Raiffeisen bank in Vienna. In 1991, he was a co-founder of the Hejka Michna Group, one of the first independent investment banks in Poland. He also founded an NASD registered broker dealer in NY. He has been the CEO of the largest door and window manufacturer in Croatia. He is a founder and director of the Old and New Europe Fund, a hedge fund focusing on Eastern and Western European convergence, and a board member at several private companies in CEE. Peter is also a founding investor in Bezkartek.pl, one of Poland’s leading digital publishing companies as well as Dracula Ventures S.A., a technology incubator in Poland.
Peter holds a B.Sc. (Hons) from the University of Kent in Canterbury and an MBA from Indiana University in the US. He is fluent in Polish and English, and has a working knowledge of German, as well as several Slavic languages.
